Collagen, Plant Collagen

Collagen is a protein made by our body. It is found in our skin, hair, nails, cartilage, bones, tendons, ligaments, blood vessels, and even in our intestines. It provides elasticity to our skin and strengthens our bones.

As we age, our body produces less and less collagen, and that is very visible on our skin, which starts to sag, and wrinkles show up. It is beneficial to supply the skin with collagen, just like we supply our body internally with collagen powder or drinks to strengthen our bones and ligaments.

Collagen, as a supplement or ingredient, is usually animal origin, most often made of pork, fish or beef. Based on our standards against animal cruelty, we use plant collagen in our products.

Just like animal origin collagen, plant collagen also improves the structure of the skin, and it has moisturizing, conditioning, and filling effects.

Hexapeptide-11

Rich in amino acids, Hexapeptide-11 supports skin tone and elasticity, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It improves suppleness and firmness by promoting collagen production. It is a non-irritating, comparable alternative to retinoids to slow the aging process.

Pea Protein Peptide

Pea Peptide is extracted from pea protein by bio-complex enzyme digestion, which gives it beneficial antioxidant properties, as well as water- and oil-retention, and re-densifying capacities. This non-irritating, non-toxic peptide contains 22 essential amino acids, 8 of them the human body cannot synthetize.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic Acid restores damage resulting from surface and deep layer moisture deficiency. It maintains the degree of hydration, plasticity, and viscosity. Literally acting like a sponge, hyaluronate can retain water up to 1,000 times its own weight. HA is naturally present in our skin as our cells produce about 5 grams of it per day. However, as we age, the percentage of HA in the skin decreases; and this loss accounts for the loss of hydration and moisture in the skin.

Our Hyaluronic Acid complex is partially plant derived from tara tree seeds and marine seaweed, partially produced by biofermentation of non-GMO plant ingredients (peptone, yeast, glucose). The small molecular weight HA penetrates the deeper dermal layers to fill the lines from the inside out, while the medium molecular weight HA protects the epidermis by minimizing moisture evaporation.

Vitamin F
The added Vitamin F supplies essential unsaturated fatty acids that nourish and regenerate the skin by participating in cell membrane building to protect the epidermis.

Aloe

The gel found in Aloe leaves soothes various skin conditions, including burns, wounds or eczema. It also moisturizes and softens the skin while supplying minerals and trace elements to the cells.

Yucca

Yucca is rich in saponins, phytoestrogens, Vitamins A, B and C, and mineral salts. It softens the skin, promotes collagen production, and has anti-aging effects by fighting free radical damage.

Calendula

Calendula is rich in bioflavonoids, beta-carotenes (pre-vitamin A), saponins, Vitamins A, C and E. It regenerates, soothes and calms the skin, and has anti-inflammatory effects, as well.

Cold-Pressed Oils

Our botanical oils, such as Castor Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil and Corn Germ Oil, are rich in essential fatty acids and Vitamin E. They protect and deeply moisturize the skin.

Collagen Gel Mask

Elasticizing mask that promotes collagen production, deeply hydrates and slows the signs of aging in maturing or sensitive skin. It provides optimal dermal skin support for most skin types with Plant Collagen, Hexapeptide-11, Pea Peptide, Hyaluronic Acid and a unique organic botanical blend. It effectively improves the complexion, leaving a visibly youthful appearance. It can be left overnight on face, neck and décolleté.
