When ingested as an herb, spice or seed, an internationally-grown plant called fenugreek can improve symptoms in diabetics and increase breast-milk supply in nursing mothers. An up-and-coming skincare company called Ilike wanted to see what fenugreek could do on the body. The result is their Organic Fenugreek Gel for Wrinkles.
Intended for use on the face, neck and eyes, this gel nourishes and hydrates. When gently tapped on any type of skin, it lifts, diminishes wrinkles, and allegedly even firms double chins. With the help of other natural ingredients like lavender and rosemary oils, flaxseed, aloe, potato, and vitamin E, the fenugreek visibly soothes even rosacea and acne-prone skin.
Fenugreek has been known to show up in other brands' products here and there, but apparently never as the main ingredient. But if it can really do all Ilike says it can do, we're sure it'll find its way into many more gels, creams and lotions.
